Tamil actress Pooja Devariya is making her debut in Sandalwood with “Katheyondu Shuruvagide”. When the makers announced that the film was being made using sync sound, everyone was surprised as there will be no dubbing involved. People were shocked as Pooja was a Tamilian. However, what not many know is that Pooja’s mother is a Kannadiga.
Pooja was not so fluent in Kannada before the film started. However, as soon as she came to know that the film will be made using sync sound, she started to talk Kannada more. She got the script almost one and half month before shooting started and she started to practise the dialogues.
Her grandmother was of great help as she helped her speak the language. She also enlisted the help of a tutor on the sets. She not only impressed the film crew with her acting skills but also with her language skills.
