The Dimple Queen of Sandalwood, Rachita Ram has signed her next film. She is already extremely busy with five films in hand in the form of “Ayogya”, “Natasarvabhouma”, “Seetharama Kalyana”, “I Love You” and “Rustum”.
She will be playing the lead role in a film titled “April”. This will be her first female-oriented script and she will be playing an off-beat role. The film, which is a thriller, marks the directorial debut of Satya Rayala, who is also the writer of the film. Rachita will play the titular character, whose name is April D’Souza. The movie is based on a true incident.
The film is set to go on floor in September. The music of the film is by Udith Haridas, cinematography by Arjun Shetty, and editing by Pratheek Shetty. Rachita is extremely confident of the script and feels that this film will end up being a landmark in her career.
