Bengaluru: Rakshit Shetty, who has not directed any movies in the past five years, is all set to direct a new movie. He is currently busy with the post-production work for “Avane Srimannarayana” but will soon begin directing a new movie titled “Punyakoti”.
Shetty stated that “Punyakoti” is a big budget movie. “After the release of ‘Avane Shrimannarayana’, I will start the pre-production work for ‘Punyakoti’,” he said.
It can be recalled that Shetty’s last directorial was “Ulidavaru Kandanthe” which was a hit at the box office. Since then, he has not directed any movies.
“Everyone knows the Punyakoti story. There are a lot of similarities between this film’s screenplay and the Punyakoti story,” he added.
