Actor Aniissh who has been good friends with Rakshit Shetty for over a decade will soon have his upcoming flick Ramarjuna presented by Rakshit in theatres. The two who have known each other since Nam Areal Ondina days have now come together as the Kirik Party fame actor has decided to back and release his buddy’s flick in cinema halls. Aniissh is known to have said that initially, he had plans of selling the film to an OTT platform.
“And the day I went to Rakshit’s house to upload and sell it to an OTT company, Rakshit told me he wanted to watch the film,” Aniissh is quoted as saying. Rakshit’s friends who were also in the actor’s home sat down to watch the movie. “I wasn’t too sure because Rakshit’s taste in films is different from mine. So I thought of showing him some glimpses from the movie. But when we completed watching the first half, Rakshit and friends insisted that they wanted to watch the whole movie,”shares Aniissh.
Rakshit then went on to laud Aniissh’s efforts and the way the film had turned out. “He also asked me to write more and direct more often,” sums Aniissh.
