Rakshit Shetty, who has not worked on any film in 2017, has signed another film. As we all know, he will start shooting for his much hyped “Avane Srimannarayana” soon. He has now signed another film, which is “Charlie 777”. Rakshit had recently revealed that he will be doing three films this year to compensate for not doing any films last year.
“Charlie 777” was expected to star Aravind Iyer in the lead role. However, he opted out of the film a month ago due to some issues. The team felt that Rakshit Shetty, who was producing the film, is perfect for the role. Rakshit agreed to be part of the film. It is a first-of-its-kind in Kannada cinema and is about the bond between a dog and man.
The film will be directed by Kiranraj and is about a depressed man who hates dogs. However, Charlie, a missing dog, becomes his companion. The relationship between man and dog will be explored in the movie. Rakshit Shetty’s ParamVah Studios will be producing the film and Pushkar Films will be presenting it.
Rakshit Shetty and Aravind Iyer have a special connection. Aravind made his debut with Rakshit Shetty starrer “Kirik Party”. He was supposed to debut with “Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu” however, Rakshit Shetty agreed to come on board and the makers decided to cast Rakshit in the film due to his star image. Aravind Iyer is now making his debut as lead in “Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja”, which is being produced by Rakshit Shetty.
