After taking almost a year’s time to work on the script for his next project, Rakshith Shetty is back with “Avane Srimannarayana”, which is slated to be launched in December.
The film was originally meant to be a rom-com but Rakshith changed his plans and decided to make the film more commercial and bigger, after “Kirik Party” broke many records in Karnataka and the world over.
The film has been directed by debutante director Sachin and will see Raskhith playing the role of a corrupt cop from North Karnataka. The film is co-produced by Pushkar, Rakshith Shetty and H K Prakash.
The film will be Rakshith’s first big budget film and makers are reportedly spending close to Rs 20 Crore on the project.
