Female-centric films are the new trend in Sandalwood. We are seeing many heroines concentrating on female-centric films, as they are turning out to be profitable ventures. Joining the list of heroines opting for female-centric films like Hariprriya, Shruthi Hariharan and Shraddha Srinath, is Rashmika Mandanna.
The Coorgi lass’ next film is with debutant director, R Gautham Iyer, wherein she will play an investigative officer and chess player.
The makers have titled it “Vrithra”. In all likelihood, the film is scheduled to go on floor in the first week of August. The first-time director is glad to have Rashmika Mandanna on board. He happened to come across a certain news article, which inspired him to write the story. The makers are now in the process of finalizing the other cast members and the technicians before they kick start the shoot.
