A few days ago, we had revealed that Sruthi Hariharan was roped in by director B S Lingadevaru for his next. However, it looks like the “MeToo” campaign has affected the actress. It is now being reported that Sruthi has walked out of the film titled “Daari Thapisu Devare”, the reason for which is her allegations against actor Arjun Sarja.
As the matter is in court, Sruthi feels that she will not be able to do justice to the role.
Most of the people in the film industry have supported Arjun Sarja with regard to the allegations and this has led to rumours doing the rounds that Sruthi Hariharan’s career is over. With “Daari Thapisu Devare” also going out of her hand, she must start afresh.
Rishi is the lead hero in “Daari Thapisu Devare”. With Sruthi now out of the project, the makers are on the lookout for another female lead.
Meanwhile, Sruthi has completed shooting for Mansore’s “Nathicharami”, which is scheduled to release soon.
