Suri, director of blockbuster “Duniya” which was released on 23 February 2007, will be getting the lucky date again after exactly 10 years as his next, “Tagaru” will be releasing on February 23 of this year. The film which was initially slated to release on February 9 was been postponed by two weeks.
Suri, who does not believe in superstitions says that both the films are different and no comparison should be made. He is confident of “Tagaru” doing well and hopes that the hype created matches the expectations of Shivarajkumar fans. The film will be releasing in a record number of theatres and is coming after Shivarajkumar’s blockbuster hit “Mufti.”
Featuring Shivarajkumar in the lead, “Tagaru” comes with an ensemble cast of Manvitha Harish, Bhavana, Dhananjay, Vasishta Simha among others. The film’s music is by Charan Raj is already hitting the chartbusters and has also been set as a popular ring tone. The film has cinematography by Mahendra Simha.
