Team of acclaimed Kannada film ‘Thithi’ is all set to entertain Kannadigas in particular and cine-lovers in general with yet another movie which is also based on rural life.
The muhoortham of new movie titled ‘Tarle Village’ by the same team was held in Mysuru on Friday, July 1 at Ganapathi temple. The team winning accolades for Thithi from all around the globe, will be experimenting with yet another story on rural life.
Thithi fame Century Gowda, Gaddappa, Tammanna, Abhi, Shrinivas, Shayambhav and 70 other actors will be playing various roles in the upcoming movie. The shooting will be held in Mysuru, Mandya and other places. Produced by K S Raghu, he will be experimenting with Thithi team with a new project.
‘Thithi’ is a dramatic comedy about how three generations of sons react to the death of the oldest in their clan, a man named Century Gowda a locally renowned, highly cantankerous 101-year-old man. Set in a small village in Karnataka, the three story lines intertwine before converging at Century Gowda’s ‘Thithi’ the final funeral celebration, 11 days after the death. Produced by Pratap Reddy and Sunmin Park, “Thithi” has already been screened in over 12 international and national film festivals and won 13 awards.
