Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has joined the cast of ‘Ranam’, which will be released in both Kannada and Telugu languages.
Varalaxmi plays the role of a CBI officer in the film, while Chetan Kumar plays the role of a revolutionist and Chiranjeevi Sarja, an encounter specialist.
Varalaxmi made her Sandalwood debut with Sudeep in ‘Maanikya’. She will be seen with Dev Gill in ‘Ranam’. The two are currently shooting for the film at Minerva Mills where a large set has been created by art director Srinivas.
Nithu Gowda plays the female lead in the film in both the languages. Gurukiran will be scoring the music, while Niranjan Babu is the cameraman for the Kannada version.
