Bengaluru: The makers of Sudeep’s upcoming film, Vikrant Rona have postponed the movie release plans. Earlier, the movie was slated to be released on February 24.
Announcing in social media, the makers stated, “Despite our willingness to meet you all at the cinemas on February 24, the present covid scenario and the prevailing restriction are not favourable for a grand release across the globe. We understand that the wait can be excruciating but we promise that the cinematic experience will be worthy of your patience. We will soon announce the new date on which the world will meet its new hero.”
The Anup Bhandari directorial is a 3D film and its post-production work is now going on. Vikrant Rona also stars Neetha Ashok, Nirup Bhandari and Jacqueline Fernandes.
The multilingual film is presented by Zee Studios, and backed by Shalini Manjunath with Alankar Pandian as co-producer.
