‘Anukta’ is making all the noise in Sandalwood at present. The trailer of the film which was released recently has created a huge buzz. Sources close to the film’s team say that the film has come out very well and will be the next big film in Sandalwood.
Trade analysts believe that ‘Anukta’ will be the next ‘Rangi Taranga’ of Sandalwood. As we all know ‘Rangi Taranga’ was a blockbuster. The film which was released on limited screens reportedly went on to collect more than 40 crores across the world. And now it is being said that ‘Anukta’ has many similarities with the classic film.
Like ‘Rangi Taranga’ ‘Anukta’ is also a thriller, and both the films have coastal Karnataka flavour. Rituals of coastal Karnataka are shown in ‘Anukta’ as well. ‘Rangi Taranga’ managed to grab eyeballs due to its technical richness and ‘Anukta’ too looks technically great. All these factors have made many to believe that Anukta will be the next Rangi Taranga.
The film which is directed by Ashwath Samuel and produced by Harish Bangera under the banner Deyi Production is all set to release on February 1.
The film stars Sampath Raj, Anu Prabhakar, Karthik Attavara, Sangeetha Bhat, K S Sridhar, Usha Bhadary and Lakshmi Siddaiah.
