Yagna Shetty of “Ulidavaru Kandanthe” and “Killing Veerappan” fame is all set to make her debut on small screen. She is the latest actor to join the bandwagon of Sandalwood heroines who are making their presence felt in TV soaps. Yagna Shetty is playing the main lead in the mega serial Varasdhara.
The mega serial’s connection with Sandalwood does not end only with Yagna. The serial will be produced by Kiccha Sudeep and it is directed by Gadda Viji of “Dyavre” and “Plus” fame.
The serial also features child artiste Chitrali – the winner of Drama Juniors. The episodes are currently being shot in Chikkamagaluru.
Yagna Shetty made her debut in 2007 with “Ondu Preethiya Kathe” and was noticed for her roles in “Eddelu Manjunatha”, “Sugreeva”, “Love Guru”, “Kalla Malla Sulla” and “Ulidavaru Kandanthe”.
The show will be telecasted in Zee Kannada.
