Bengaluru: Yash, who is celebrating his birthday on January 8 is all elated because his fans have given a splendid gift.
The much-awaited teaser of Yash’s upcoming film KGF: Chapter 2 was out on the internet was Thursday night and within 14 hours, the teaser crossed 30 million views.
As per the film team, the teaser bagged 2 million views in just 10 hours, which is a record by itself.
The two minute long video shows glimpses of Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon and it is nothing less than being magnificient.
Though the plan was to release the teaser on January 8, for reasons unknown the makers-Hombaale films dropped the teaser on the eve of Yash’s birthday.
The grim background and a child making a promise to his dying mother seems to be the focal point of the film.
Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt plays antagonist-Adheera in the film while Raveena Tandon plays Ramika Sen, a powerful politician.
Rocky Bhai- Yash, the protagonist is seen taking on his enemies firing relentlessly using a machine gun.
“History tells us that powerful people come from powerful places. History was wrong. Powerful people make places powerful.” the voiceover is heard in the teaser.
Sanjay Dutt unveiled the teaser of KGF: Chapter 2 with a thank you note for his fans. He wrote: “The love that you all have shown for #Adheera till now has been overwhelming. Sharing KGF: Chapter 2 teaser.”
None other than Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan tweeted and said: What a great trailer . Congrats to the team n Happy Birthday to you Yash !
