After a successful run at the box office, Teja Sajja’s superhero film “HanuMan,” directed by Prasanth Varma, is showing signs of steadiness in its earnings. According to reports from Sacnilk.com, on its eighteenth day, the film garnered approximately ₹1.75 crore net across all languages in India.

Early estimates suggest that “HanuMan” has amassed a total of ₹174.45 crore in its theatrical run so far. Despite a slight slowdown, the film maintained an occupancy rate of 21.66 percent for its Telugu version and 9.32 percent for its Hindi version on Monday.

The movie, set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, has already crossed the ₹250 crore milestone worldwide. Alongside Teja Sajja, the film features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai in pivotal roles.

With a budget of ₹40 crore, “HanuMan” is produced by Primeshow Entertainment and marks the inception of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). The director has ambitious plans for the future, with two follow-ups titled “Jai HanuMan” and “Adhira” already in the pipeline.

Reflecting on the unexpected success of the film, director Prasanth expressed gratitude, stating, “I knew it would resonate with the audience, but the overwhelming box office response exceeded our expectations. This encourages me to pursue more ambitious projects in the future.”

Prasanth Varma also emphasized the importance of collaborating with like-minded individuals who share his vision, noting, “I am grateful for the support of my producers who believed in my creative vision and allowed me to bring it to life on screen. Their unwavering faith in me has been instrumental in the success of ‘HanuMan’.”

The director, buoyed by the film’s triumph, has already announced plans for a sequel, aligning with the spirit of the auspicious occasion of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony day.
