Bengaluru: Renowned Telugu film editor G. G. Krishna Rao passed away in Bengaluru on Tuesday February 21 due to age-related ailments.
Rao, who began his career as an editor in Hindi movies through the film Jwar Bhata in 1973. His first Telugu film was Padavoyi Bharatheeyuda.
Recipient of three Nandi Awards, he has over 200 films to his credit, and worked with great Directors such as Dasari Narayana Rao, K. Vishwanath, and Bapu among others.
Rao was an important part of many movies of Legendary Director K. Vishwanath‘s classics including Sankarabharanam, and Sagara Sangamam to name a few.
