Anand Mahindra Highlights Stunning Jog Falls in Karnataka

Parents' Committee Criticizes Private Schools' Protest On Independence Day (1)

Bengaluru: Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, recently praised Karnataka’s Jog Falls, calling them “staggeringly beautiful” in a post on X (formerly Twitter). With the monsoon in full swing, Jog Falls near Shivamogga is flowing powerfully, attracting thousands of tourists daily.

Mahindra’s post emphasized the falls’ grandeur, stating, “The sheer force & majesty of these falls. The world needs to know more about Jog Falls.” This comment has sparked widespread appreciation and some criticism regarding the state of facilities at the site.

While some visitors have complained about inadequate amenities, others have suggested that preserving Jog Falls’ natural beauty might be better without extensive tourism development. Karnataka Tourism thanked Mahindra for highlighting the site, noting, “#JogFalls is a true marvel of nature, and we’re thrilled to share its beauty with the world. Your appreciation means a lot.”
