Choose your year’s planner wisely to help simplify, create and inspire

Choosing the best planner for you necessitates a clear understanding of how you prefer to keep yourself organised through the year. It may take some time to discover the proper match if you are new to planning. Examine the present system you have in place, if any, and determine what works and what doesn’t. Then consider the qualities that are a ‘must’ for you. This will assist you to narrow things down.

Time management

This refers to the process of planning and managing how much time is spent on certain tasks. Good time management enables an individual to do more in less time, leads to professional success. Good time management provides you more time to focus on your everyday activities. People who can properly manage their time enjoy having extra time for hobbies or other personal pastimes.

Making and adhering to a task plan

This helps lessen anxiety. You may see concrete progress as you cross tasks off your “to-do” list. This prevents you from becoming stressed up over whether or not you’re getting things done.

Set objectives that are both attainable and quantifiable

When creating goals, employ the SMART technique. In other words, make sure the goals you establish are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. Tasks should be prioritised according to their significance and urgency. Examine your everyday duties, for example, and figure out which of the following are: Do these duties immediately since they are important and urgent. Decide when to do those chores if they are important but not urgent. If feasible, delegate certain chores that are urgent yet unimportant. Set things aside since they are neither urgent or vital.

It is more difficult to stay focused and motivated when performing a large number of chores without taking a break. Allow for some pause between jobs to clear your mind and recharge your batteries.
