The All India Muslim Development Forum is known for serving people across the country regardless of caste or faith. They have also expanded their services by helping the vulnerable and low-income people in the community with educational and other needs. They also extend support to thepoor and needy by providing medical assistance.
The All India Muslim Development Forum has also taken initiative to assist and address the needs of patients, including in some cases offering emergency tools. Patients are given free medical equipment such as oxygen concentrator, oxygen cylinder, C-Pape machine, Nebulizer machine, wheelchair, walking stick, Water Bed, Neck Belt, Commode Seat, and Bed Fan. Patients have to return the medical tools to the AIMDF office after recovery.
In an interaction with News Karnataka, Amjad said, “Founder member of AIMDF Abubakar Sazifa started this initiative to help the poor patients by providing them some emergency tools at free of cost in Dakshina Kannada. If this initiative receives a positive response from the public, we would definitely extend our services all over Karnataka.”
“Many poor people are forced either to buy these medical tools or take them on rent during emergencies. Many of them cannot afford to pay for them. Thus, AIMDF provides these at free of cost, and once the patient recovers he has to return them,” he explained.
Requesting the public to support their foundation Amjad said “If you have any medical tools, please donate to All India Muslim Development Forum as it will help someone who needs them.
