Mumbai: Attoor Shivaram K Bhandary, the Managing Director of Shiva’s Hair Designers Private Ltd., and famous for for his salon ‘Hair Stylo’ at Mumbai received a doctorate from the Executive Governor General of the European Continental University – Prof. Dr. Ralph Thomas, ECU Substitute Vice-Chancellor – Dr. Jeffrey Clark and the representative of the university – Judith Cowlson at the convocation of global professional entrepreneurship of Asia Chapter-2015 which was held at the auditorium of Holiday Inn hotel at Bangkok of Thailand on Sunday, the 10th of May.
The Doctorate in Consortium Entrepreneurial Administrators for Professional Development was awarded to Shivaram Bhandary by the Knowledge University of America (USA) Delaware in association with the South Indian CTV Communication of Tamilnadu, United Korea (UK) Commission of Consistent, and the European Continental University (ECU) institution.
About Attoor Shivaram Bhandary
Bhandary lost his father at an early age and was brought up by his mother, Gulabi Bhandary. He was working at a Saloon in Mumbai and has become popular globally through his achievements. Shivaram Bhandary is a resident of Attoor Dharegudde of Karkala Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District and was the only Indian among 48 renowned hair designers of the world to received the ‘Saloon International’ award during the year 1998.
He has provided a new dimension to hair cutting, opening a chain of his popular brand of Saloons – Shiva’s Hair Stylo Designer – across Mumbai under the banner of his company Shiva’s Hair Designers Private Ltd. He now operates his branded saloon at Thane, Juhu, Mulund, Andheri, Lokhandwala, Andheri (W), Malad and Moodabidri. His salon provides Hair styling services to the the Thackeray family and other celebrities, including Bollywood celebrities.
He has also been actively doing social service through the Bhandary Seva Samiti Mumbai, where he was the Executive president of the Fund Collection Committee.
The former President of Bhandary Maha Mandala – Suresh Bhandary Kadandhale said being born in Bhandary community, he upholds the fame of the whole Bhandary society and his great achievement is a model for all the people.
