Mysuru Chakravarthy – crusader of peace on cycle
Chakravarthy is a security guard by profession. Hailing from Nattupalya in Coimbatore of Tamilnadu, Chakravarthy says that he had a chaotic childhood as he grew up in an unhealthy surrounding where violence was way of life.
Yearning for peace and harmony, now Chakravarthy, a resident of Indiranagar, Bengaluru has started a cycle journey He intends to cover the entire nation spelling out message of harmony and peace. At present he is in Mysuru and over next few days he will meet as many people as possible and speak about need for peace.
With the cycle handles cover with white ribbon, symbolising peace, he moves around displaying placard bearing messages of peace.
With a pack of his essential commodities on the back, Chakravarthy is doing this rare feat with the money he has collected as security guard.
He started one lap of journey in 2012 from Bengaluru. He then reached Coimbatore and after 3 month journey he returned to Bengaluru.
This time, he started second lap of journey from Mysuru and has intention of covering Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Tiruchinapally region.
Impressed by his endeavour, he was feted by several organisation at various places, he says.
