World’s first offline digital wallet solution ‘Yuva Pay’ is launched in partnership with UDMA Technologies to enable contactless payments for its customers. It can be used both online and offline modes for payment. IT experts of Karnatak have specially designed this app Under the Make in India, Digital India, and Aatma Nirbhara Bharat Schemes. It is a safe and easy Cashless payment platform. The experimental testings are already successful in many Rural areas of Karnataka.
The specialty of the App
The Yuva Pay App can be used in Smart Phone as well as a feature phone and used with and without internet connections. It is the First-ever offline mobile payment application developed in Karnataka.
Experimental Testing in Kadooru Village Panchayat
With the Cooperation of the Government of Karnataka, the App was successful in tax collection experimental testings were conducted in the kadooru village panchayat of Bramhavar Taluk of Udupi. The app was completely based on the instructions provided by the Reserve bank of India.
In the first Phase, a three-month campaign was conducted to persuade the rural public to pay their tax using Yuva App, After assuring success in the Kadooru village Panchayat, the 15 more village panchayat of the Udupi district were selected for the second phase of the experimental testing. In the next month, the app will extend its service to 143 village panchayats and other parts of Karnataka too.
The utility of the App
Through the app, customers can pay their utility bills (including municipal, house, water tax, electricity, LPG, DTH, Mobile bill, license fees), make insurance renewals, FASTag recharges, EMI payments, and use the app to make payments at retail outlets.

Yuva Pay will also double up as a banking app for funds transfer, account balance check, recharges or top-ups, bill payments, and rewards platform.
How to download Yuva Pay
You just need to type Yuva Pay Gi in the and download it from Playstore.
Smartphone users will need to complete a biometric-based KYC process within 24 months after wallet activation to start using the services online. While for feature phone users, customers will have to visit the nearest ‘Yuva Mitra’ associate to complete the minimum or full KYC verification process.
For feature set users, Yuva Pay will leverage Interactive Voice Response Services (IVRS) wherein all transactions are processed securely via OTP and T-PIN (telephone pin) authentication.
In case, users are facing internet connectivity issues, the payment and collection request will be converted into an encrypted SMS and the transaction is completed in offline mode, through the service.
Yes Bank is also looking to showcase the solution to 158-gram panchayats with 238 villages in Karnataka, in the first phase, by associating with State Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department, Karnataka.

Attractive cashback is offered to the customers for using the app on recharge and bill payments. 3% confirmed Cashback will be offered to the user on using the virtual prepaid card for online payments. These cards can be also used in ATMs and swiping in upcoming days. Banking services like Savings, Fixed deposits, RD, Loan facilities, insurance will be provided offline in this app.
