Entertainment is one of the most wanted aspects that everyone wants in their life. There exist several entertainment activities that are in our society like singing, dancing and many more. Although existence without entertainment is possible, it lacks the very essence of life. But another form of entertainment that everyone wants in his life is that of various variety of games. In ancient texts, we find pieces of evidence that there were games that helped in gain pleasure in leisure time.

We get entertainment not only by playing but also by watching it. We see that in ancient Greek we come across the gaming system known as Gladiator where many people assemble and enjoy the fight which is performed by the slaves. Even in Indian mythology, we see that the show of their skills in different weapons that is like the Art of Sword, Arrow, Spear and Gada were performed by soldiers to the gathered viewers.

Till the period of 2000, we saw that games were only played by the common people ever were, but after the improvement of technology, we see the majority of people are only involved in online gaming and other software-based games. The ones who played games outdoors were more active, healthy and physically fit. However, the ones who started to play online games on smartphones and computers became too inactive.

Online gaming addiction is one of the most serious issues that equally affects both children and even adults. People become fixated on the virtual world, lose all sense of reality, and spend their entire day playing. According to studies, lack of sleep, insomnia, circadian rhythm abnormalities, sadness, anger, and anxiety have all been related to online gaming.

Technology was made only to improve the lifestyle of the people but the overuse of technology has made people dull and null in life. So, we should consider that the use of these technologies should be done only as time pass and not regularly.
