The energetic courts of Mangala Badminton Arena in Mangaluru are gearing up to host the All India Golden Masters Badminton Championship on May 24 and 25, 2025. This highly awaited national-level showdown will spotlight seasoned shuttlers aged 35 and above, as they battle it out in a thrilling two-day face-off of skill, endurance, and legacy.

Participants will compete across multiple age divisions — +35, +40, +45, +50, +55, +60, +65, +70, and +75 — showcasing the persistent spirit of sport among India’s veteran players. The event includes traditional match formats like Men’s Singles and Doubles, Women’s Singles and Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, ensuring a wide scope of participation.

Adding a twist to the tournament, organizers are introducing Jumbled Doubles, where pairs in age combos +110, +120, and +130 will test their coordination and tactics in this fresh, exciting format. This feature aims to engage both players and viewers in a unique experience of intergenerational teamwork.

A large turnout is anticipated, with many elite senior badminton players expected to participate. Winners will be awarded recognition trophies and lucrative prizes, as the event also serves as a tribute to lifelong dedication to the sport.

“This tournament is more than a competition; it’s a celebration of perseverance and passion,” remarked an event spokesperson. Registrations are open, and eligible athletes are urged to seize this national platform.
