Dhinidhi Desinghu, the youngest member of the Indian contingent at the Olympics, returned from Paris and quickly made an impact by leading the Karnataka team to victory in the 4×200 metres freestyle relay at the National Sub-Junior and Junior Swimming Championships in Bhubaneswar. The event commenced on Tuesday, with the Karnataka team, consisting of Naisha, Tisya Sonar, Trisha Sindhu, and Dhinidhi, finishing in a record time of 8:55.30, breaking the previous 10-year-old mark of 8:57.98 set by another Karnataka team.

In the corresponding Group I event, Karnataka’s team of Shirin, Suhasini Ghosh, Sri Charani Tumu, and Hashika Ramachandra secured the gold with a time of 8:48.13. Karnataka’s Sharan S also claimed gold in the Group II 400m freestyle, while his teammate Rishith Rangan took third place.
