Champions Trophy Ticket Prices: Far More Expensive in Dubai, Affordable in Pakistan

Karachi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the ticket prices for the upcoming Champions Trophy, with matches in Pakistan set to be far more affordable than those in Dubai.

For matches in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, the lowest-priced tickets for the General Enclosure will cost PKR 1000 (approximately INR 310), making them highly affordable for local fans. However, the prices will rise for high-demand games. For the Pakistan vs Bangladesh match in Rawalpindi, the General Enclosure price will increase to PKR 2000 (INR 620), with tickets for the semi-final priced at PKR 2500 (INR 776).

In contrast, VVIP tickets for all games will cost PKR 12,000 (INR 3726), with the semi-final VVIP tickets priced at PKR 25,000 (INR 7764). The Premium Enclosure tickets will range from PKR 3500 (INR 1086) for matches in Karachi, to PKR 7000 (INR 2170) for the Pakistan vs Bangladesh match in Rawalpindi.

With 18,000 general tickets up for sale, the exact number of tickets a person can purchase and the availability of physical ticket booths remain unclear.

As for Dubai, where India’s games will be held, the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) will be responsible for operational costs, including ground rent. The PCB, however, expects to retain the gate money from Dubai games, including the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match on February 23. Ticket pricing for Dubai matches will be decided in consultation with the ECB and the ICC.
