K’taka,Delhi, Odisha and AP will face off in Blind Cricket Semis

Hubballi:  Karnataka will lock horns with Delhi while Odisha will face Andhra Pradesh in the semi-finals of the ongoing Women’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2024 on Thursday.

Both matches will be played at Karnataka Gymkhana Cricket Ground. Odisha vs Andhra Pradesh will kick start the semi-finals proceedings at 9 am while Karnataka and Delhi will meet in the afternoon at the same location.

All four semi-finalists on Wednesday won their respective games to reach the semis of the ongoing Women’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2024.

In a cakewalk, Karnataka thrashed Assam by nine wickets at SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital Cricket Ground in Dharwad. Put into bat first by Karnataka, Assam scored just 57 runs in 20 overs. Karnataka chased down the target in the 6th over. Laxmi P was the Player of the Match.

Delhi defeated West Bengal by 116 runs at Indian Railways Cricket Ground in Hubli. Delhi scored 192/3 and bundled West Bengal out for 76. Manika was the Player of the Match. Delhi reached the semis by their better net run rate.

Odisha and Andhra Pradesh defeated Madhya Pradesh and Haryana respectively in Hubli. Both teams have remained undefeated in their respective Groups and will kickstart the semi-final proceedings on Thursday.

The League stage ended today. A total of 27 matches are being played in the IndusInd Bank Women’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2024. The showdown, coinciding with National Youth Day, also known as Vivekananda Jayanti, is set for January 12 and promises a fitting culmination to this remarkable tournament.
