The young cricket players around the world are currently putting up some amazing stats and performing admirably on international levels. Additionally, many have already proven they can perform under pressure, and hence have all the attributes to become greats in the upcoming years.

One of the most anticipated competitions is the upcoming ODI World Cup, which will be held from October 5 to November 19 in India. The showpiece event is expected to produce a large number of young, talented cricketers who could dominate the sport in the forthcoming years. 1. Harry Brook

With a stunning run of form across all formats of the game, particularly in the Test team, Harry Brook established himself as one of the world’s most intriguing young players. The English batter, who made his Test debut in September 2022, scored 809 runs in nine innings at an incredible strike rate of 98.77 during their tour to Pakistan and New Zealand. Interestingly, no player in the history of Test cricket had started with a larger impact. The 24-year-old is currently competing in the 2023 Ashes, where he has amassed 271 runs from four Test matches at an average of 38.71. His highest score was a 93-ball 75 runs in the third Test at Headingley, the game which England won after losing the first two. He has only played a few white-ball games but is expected to succeed there as well.

2. Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill has already sealed his place in India’s squad for all formats of the game. He was called up to the senior national team after putting in strong performances for India’s U19 team and Punjab in the Ranji Trophy tournament. In the Test, ODI, and T20I formats, he has 966, 1311, and 202 runs, respectively. The 23-year-old had an unforgettable season with the 2023 Indian Premier League runners-up Gujarat Titans. He finished the season as the tournament’s leading run-scorer, with 890 runs, including three centuries, at an average of 59.33. He is expected to perform well in the highly anticipated Cricket World Cup in India.

3. Cameron Green

Cameron Green was destined to play international cricket from a very young age. Green, who had impressive first-class cricket stats, made his international debut in 2020. He had an outstanding campaign with the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians this season. The 24-year-old, who is currently taking part in the Ashes 2023, has scored 103 runs and taken five wickets in three Tests.
