New Delhi: IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel has announced yesterday that the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start in the UAE on Sep 19 and culminate with the final on Nov 8. The government is expected to approve moving the IPL out of the country shortly.
The IPL governing council after the approval is received to finalise all arrangements. The arrangements will include deciding on whether crowds will be allowed and if, to what extent. HT New Delhi reports that to do this the council will take the advice of the UAE government.
