Indian cricketer Ishant Sharma graced the annual sports day of Adani International School on January 31, 2025, inspiring the young athletes in attendance. The event saw the participation of 550 students, all competing with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

As the chief guest, Sharma, a stalwart of Indian cricket with 434 international wickets across formats, shared his valuable experiences with the students. Having been part of the Indian team’s pace attack for over a decade, Sharma’s presence added a special touch to the occasion. His interaction with the students, filled with personal anecdotes from his illustrious career, encouraged the young athletes to strive for excellence in both sports and life.

“I feel elated to have spent quality time with the kids, who are the future of our country. I’m sure they had a memorable day while putting on an encouraging display of sportsmanship,” said the 36-year-old cricketer. He also expressed his gratitude to the school, noting how the event made him nostalgic.
