KKR Star Venkatesh Iyer Gets Married To Shruti Raghunathan

Shortly after winning the IPL 2024 title, on June 2, Venkatesh Iyer, the star all-rounder for the Kolkata Knight Riders, tied the knot with Shruti Raghunathan. In front of family and friends, the couple, who became engaged in November of last year, exchanged vows in a customary ceremony.

Social media users have shared pictures from Iyer’s wedding ceremony, in which the newlyweds can be seen wearing traditional South Indian wedding garb. Both were observed carrying out the customary Indian marriage rites.

While Iyer is busy playing cricket, Shruti holds a Master’s degree in Fashion Management from NIFT, India, and a B.Com. from PSG College of Arts and Science. She currently works for Lifestyle International Private Limited in Bengaluru, as a merchandise planner.

Iyer has been riding high after a spectacular IPL season where he played pivotal in KKR’s third IPL title win. In the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the 29-year-old smashed a brilliant 52 not out off just 26 balls, smashing four boundaries and three huge sixes. His heroics guided KKR to a memorable victory under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer.
