The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has proposed developing a world-class international cricket stadium near Huyilalu village in Yelwal Hobli, Mysuru district. The plan was discussed in the State Cabinet meeting, but no final decision was made.

KSCA aims to utilize 18.19 acres of barren government land for the project to boost sports infrastructure. The Cabinet deliberated on land allocation, with conditions to assess preparedness and resources. A final decision is expected in the next meeting.

Mysuru – ₹23 crore sanctioned for Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan, ₹14.64 crore for Karnataka Kalamandira, Rangayana & Vishwa Kannada Sammelana Guest House renovations.
Kodagu – ₹15 crore for upgrading Masagodu-Yelakanuru-Kanive Road in Kushalnagar Taluk.
Mandya – ₹16 crore approved for constructing ‘Prajasoudha’ in Malavalli Taluk.
