Shooting: Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal Lead the Charge

The day begins with Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal competing in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 qualification event at 12:30 PM IST. Avani, a gold medallist from the Tokyo Paralympics, is expected to lead India’s charge as she aims for another podium finish. The final for this event, should they qualify, will take place at 3:15 PM IST. Rudransh Khandelwal and Manish Narwal will also participate in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 qualification at 2:45 PM IST, with their final slated for 5:30 PM IST if they qualify.

Para Badminton: Packed Day for Indian Shuttlers

A host of Indian shuttlers will be in action throughout the day. Manasi Joshi kicks off the para-badminton schedule with her Women’s Singles SL3 group stage match against Ukraine’s Oksana Kozyna at 12 PM IST. Following her, Manoj Sarkar will face Thailand’s Mongkhon Bunsun in Men’s Singles SL3 at 1:20 PM IST, while Nitesh Kumar takes on China’s Jianyuan Yang in the same category at 2 PM IST.

Later in the day, Palak Kohli will face a tough challenge against Indonesia’s Leani Ratri Oktila in Women’s Singles SL4 at 4:40 PM IST. The day will conclude with several mixed doubles matches, with Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj and Palak Kohli teaming up against Indonesia’s Hikmat Ramdani and Leani Ratri Oktila at 12:10 AM IST.

Para Athletics: Jyoti Karam and Sakshi Kasana in Discus Throw Final

In para-athletics, Jyoti Karam and Sakshi Kasana will compete in the Women’s Discus Throw F55 Final at 1:30 PM IST, followed by Preethi Pal, who will run in the Women’s 100m T35 Final at 4:45 PM IST. Manu will be the last athlete in action in the Men’s Shot Put F37 Final at 12:22 AM IST.
