Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has announced his retirement from T20 Internationals following India’s victory in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa on Saturday.

In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Jadeja expressed gratitude as he bids farewell to T20 internationals. He likened his career to that of a steadfast horse, always giving his best for his country, and expressed his commitment to continue performing in other formats of the game.

“The T20 World Cup triumph marks the pinnacle of my T20 International career—a dream come true,” Jadeja wrote. He thanked his fans for their support, memories, and cheers throughout his journey, ending with a patriotic note: “Jai Hind.”

The southpaw made his T20I debut in 2009 against Sri Lanka and went on to play 74 matches, scoring 515 runs and taking 54 wickets during his illustrious T20I career.
