Bengaluru: Virat Kohli has made a big prediction for young Prince Yadav, saying the 24-year-old pacer is likely to play for India in the future after impressing during the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 season.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru star praised the Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler for his performances this season, especially after the youngster troubled him in both meetings between the two teams.
Prince Yadav notably dismissed Kohli for a duck in one of the matches and had earlier restricted him to 49 runs from 41 deliveries in another encounter.

Kohli also praised Prince Yadav’s personality and revealed that the two interacted during the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Describing the youngster as “a sweet guy” and “funny,” Kohli said the pacer gradually became comfortable around him and openly discussed bowling plans and strategies.
The star batter explained that experienced players have a responsibility to guide younger cricketers because they will eventually carry Indian cricket forward.
“You are not going to be here forever,” Kohli said, stressing the importance of sharing experience and maintaining high standards within Indian cricket.
