Apple is gearing up for the launch of its foldable iPhone, expected in 2026, after years of careful planning and collaborations with suppliers. One of the key features of this highly anticipated device is its innovative display, being developed in partnership with Samsung. Reports indicate that the iPhone Fold’s display will incorporate new technology designed to eliminate the visible crease that has plagued previous foldable models.

Samsung is reportedly working on a breakthrough display technology for the iPhone Fold, which will use a thinner, integrated touch sensor. Unlike previous foldable displays, which used separate touch layers, Apple’s new design will feature an in-cell touch technology. This will reduce the display thickness by 19% compared to current foldable screens like those on the Galaxy Z Fold. The result is a lighter, slimmer, and more durable foldable device that aligns with Apple’s goal of creating a crease-free screen.

Additionally, this new display is expected to improve the brightness performance of the device, providing better peak and typical brightness. The iPhone Fold will likely feature a 5.49-inch cover screen and a 7.76-inch foldable main display. There are also rumors of an under-display front-facing camera, further enhancing the design’s seamless, premium feel.

With such advanced technology, the iPhone Fold is set to raise the bar for foldable smartphones, making it one of the most highly anticipated devices in the industry.
