New Delhi: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has introduced major reforms to improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility for over 7.5 crore subscribers, Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya announced. These reforms aim to simplify members’ access to key services through a single login.

Single-login access for all services

EPFO members can now access all essential services, including passbook details, directly through a single login on the member portal. This eliminates the need to use multiple portals, streamlining the process for subscribers.

‘Passbook Lite’ feature

A new ‘Passbook Lite’ facility has been launched, providing a concise view of contributions, withdrawals, and balances. Members can check their account summary quickly without logging into a separate passbook portal.

Additional measures

Members can now download Annexure K (Transfer Certificate) directly from the portal, simplifying PF transfer tracking. The claim approval hierarchy has been reduced and rationalised to speed up settlement processes, enhancing operational efficiency.

Dr. Mandaviya said these reforms are aimed at reducing grievances, improving user experience, and boosting transparency for EPFO members across India.
