EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) has launched the ey.ai Centre for Reimagination in Bengaluru, a new facility designed to help organisations explore and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and other advanced technologies in business operations.
Spread across 40,000 square feet at the EY GDS campus, the centre was inaugurated on June 11 as part of EY’s broader commitment to accelerate AI adoption across industries. The initiative aligns with the firm’s previously announced $1.4 billion investment in artificial intelligence.
Helping businesses move from ideas to execution
According to EY, the centre will provide organisations with a collaborative environment where AI, industry expertise and design capabilities come together to address real-world business challenges.
The facility will leverage technologies such as agentic AI, robotics, digital twins and conversational AI, enabling enterprises to simulate scenarios, evaluate potential outcomes and implement solutions with greater confidence.
Janet Truncale, Global Chair and CEO of EY, said the centre would help leaders test ideas responsibly and create a clear roadmap for scaling AI-driven transformation while maintaining trust and human judgement.
Focus on key industries
Initially, the centre will focus on sectors including life sciences, industrial products, consumer products and retail, banking and capital markets, and energy.
EY noted that the solutions and use cases developed at the facility can eventually be adapted across multiple industries, helping organisations respond to evolving market demands and technological disruptions.
Creating future-ready capabilities
The centre will support specialised roles in AI engineering, immersive experience design, digital twin technology, simulation, human-centred design and sector transformation.
Through advanced simulations and collaborative workshops, organisations will be able to explore new business models, improve decision-making and accelerate innovation.
With the launch of the ey.ai Centre for Reimagination, Bengaluru further strengthens its position as a key hub for AI innovation and digital transformation in India.
