India is championing the return to office culture, with 90% of organizations requiring employees to work from office at least three days a week, according to a JLL survey. This surpasses the global average of 85%, with 54% of Indian businesses expecting office attendance to grow by 2030.
The Indian workspace is also evolving rapidly with the increasing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). A notable 95% of Indian decision-makers plan to ramp up AI investments over the next five years, reshaping workforce operations and workspace design. Meanwhile, sustainability remains a priority, with 77% of respondents boosting eco-friendly spending and 70% implementing programs to minimize environmental impact.
However, challenges persist. Nearly 44% of Corporate Real Estate (CRE) leaders find long-term planning difficult due to shifting organizational needs, while 46% struggle with integrating CRE goals with broader business strategies. Experts emphasize the importance of aligning corporate objectives to foster future-ready, efficient workplaces.
With India prioritizing technology, sustainability, and workplace innovation, the corporate landscape is on track for transformative growth.
