Apple is set to refresh its iPhone lineup with the iPhone 17, expected to arrive in six colour options: Black, White, Light Blue, Steel Grey, Green, and Purple. According to popular tipster Majin Bu, dummy units hint at new shades of green and purple, offering a subtle update to colours seen in past generations.

While last year’s iPhone 16 won fans over with bold hues like Ultramarine, Apple now seems to be opting for lighter, more refined tones, resembling the iPhone 15’s pastel aesthetic.

In terms of specifications, the iPhone 17 is expected to bring notable upgrades. The device may feature a 120Hz OLED display, offering smoother visuals. It’s likely to be powered by Apple’s upcoming A19 chip, coupled with 8GB RAM. The camera setup could include a 48MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and a new 24MP front camera, promising enhanced selfie quality and better low-light performance.

Apple may also revamp its product lineup by introducing a new iPhone 17 Air model, which could replace the existing Plus version. Rumoured to feature an ultra-thin design, the iPhone 17 Air might compete in design with sleek flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, giving buyers an additional mid-tier option alongside the standard model.

With upgraded internals, fresh design choices, and improved photography capabilities, the iPhone 17 series appears to be a solid upgrade for Apple fans this year.
