The Mangalore Bar Association has launched a new mobile app aimed at simplifying operations and offering multiple services for its members. This is the first bar association in Karnataka to roll out such an initiative.

Association president H.V. Raghavendra stated that the app offers secure access to membership management features, ID card downloads, library resources, and an in-built payment gateway supporting UPI, net banking, and cards. The app also features a dedicated fundraising platform and is available on the Play Store, App Store, and at mangalorebarassociation.com.

At the launch event, Additional District and Sessions Judge H.S. Mallikarjuna Swamy praised the region’s contributions to the nation—from banking to the Constitution—and suggested including legal updates and major judgments in the app. MLA D. Vedavyas Kamath endorsed the tech-forward step, urging collective efforts for a high court circuit bench in Mangaluru and promising infrastructure support, including a pathway to the court and a proposed advocates’ bhavan.
