The bundle includes the complete single-player campaign along with all bonus content from the original Game of the Year Edition.

Coming to Mobile and Netflix for the First Time

For the first time ever, mobile players can join John Marston’s journey with new touchscreen-optimised controls. Netflix subscribers will also get access to the games at no additional cost, expanding the streaming platform’s fast-growing gaming library.

Improved Performance on Next-Gen Consoles

Modern console players will see significant upgrades.

  • PS5 & Xbox Series X|S: 60fps, HDR, up to 4K resolution
  • Nintendo Switch 2: DLSS support, HDR, mouse input, higher-resolution 60fps gameplay

These updates aim to modernise the classic open-world Western while staying faithful to its original design.

Free Upgrades and Save Transfer Options

Rockstar confirmed that players who already own the digital PS4, Xbox One, or original Switch versions will receive free upgrades. Additionally, PS4 and Switch players can transfer their save files, ensuring a smooth continuation of their adventure.

Available on Game Subscription Libraries

The refreshed versions, developed in partnership with Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games, will also be available on:

  • GTA+ Games Library
  • PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue
    on launch day.

This broad rollout gives both long-time fans and newcomers multiple ways to dive into the frontier.

The mobile release also fuels speculation about a potential Red Dead Redemption 3, as a new wave of players experience the first two entries.
