WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature that lets users add up to 15 seconds of music to their text, photo, or video status updates. This long-awaited update, already available on Instagram and Facebook, is now accessible to WhatsApp users globally.

The feature, found in the Updates section, allows users to enhance their stories with music, which remains visible for 24 hours. Users can attach up to 15 seconds of audio for photos and 60 seconds for videos from their preferred artist or album.

WhatsApp has integrated a vast music library with “millions of songs” to choose from, making it easier for users to personalize their statuses. Despite this enhancement, end-to-end encryption remains intact, ensuring user privacy.

How to Add Music to WhatsApp Status

✅ Open WhatsApp and go to the Updates tab.
✅ Tap “Add Status” and select text, voice, image, or video.
✅ Click on the music icon at the top of the screen.
✅ Select a song from the suggested list or search for a specific track.
✅ Tap Done, then hit the green button to publish your music-enhanced status.

With this latest addition, WhatsApp continues to elevate user experience, making status updates more engaging and interactive.
