New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is set to expand its ‘T’ series lineup with the upcoming Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. Ahead of their official global launch on May 28, key details regarding pricing, storage variants and expected specifications of both devices have surfaced online.

The leaks offer an early look at what consumers can expect from the new smartphones, which will succeed the Xiaomi 15T series introduced in 2025. While both models are expected to debut globally, only the standard Xiaomi 17T has been confirmed for launch in India on June 4.

Leaked pricing and storage variants

According to information shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to be available in two storage configurations. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage could be priced at around PHP 33,999 (approximately Rs 52,700). The higher variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage may cost PHP 37,999 (around Rs 58,900).

India launch plans

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T will make its India debut on June 4. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the launch of the Xiaomi 17T Pro in the Indian market.

This suggests that Xiaomi may continue its strategy of bringing select variants to India while reserving premium models for global markets.

Camera capabilities

Camera performance is likely to be a major highlight of the Xiaomi 17T. The device is tipped to feature a Leica-backed triple rear camera setup, comprising:

  • Two 50-megapixel sensors
  • One 12-megapixel sensor

On the front, the smartphone may include a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The collaboration with Leica suggests a focus on improved image processing and photography quality, a feature Xiaomi has been emphasising in its recent devices.
