Tragic bus accident claims life of rider in Subrahmanya
On Sunday, December 15, a tragic accident occurred on the Dharmasthala–Subrahmanya Road near Kokkada, when a private bus from Andhra Pradesh, carrying Ayyappa devotees, rammed into a motorcycle. The impact resulted in the death of the rider, identified as 46-year-old Madhava Acharya from Moodabailu. Acharya, a carpenter by profession, was being rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries en route. He is survived by his wife and three daughters. The bus, which was traveling towards Subrahmanya, was not reported to have any injuries among the passengers.
