Tragic Incident in Kalaburagi: Woman and Family Allegedly Murder Husband

In a distressing turn of events in Kalaburagi, a 26-year-old man named Ishwar was allegedly murdered by his wife and her family members. The incident, which occurred in New Raghavendra Colony, came to light on Friday morning.

Ishwar, an autorickshaw driver from Kanakanagar, had been married to Ranjitha for four years. Ranjitha had left for her mother’s house five months ago following a dispute with Ishwar. On Thursday night, Ishwar visited his wife’s mother’s house to see their child. During his visit, an argument erupted between Ishwar and Ranjitha.

According to reports, Ranjitha restrained Ishwar by tying his hands and feet, and she, along with other family members, allegedly assaulted him. Neighbors, alerted by loud cries, contacted the police. Unfortunately, by the time the authorities arrived, Ishwar was already dead.

The RG Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic death. The incident has shocked the local community and highlights the severe consequences of domestic conflict.
