According to Fonseca, “Our late afternoon drive from Skukuza held hopes of spotting lions we had seen earlier. However, the bush had a surprise in store. While repositioning for a better view, I spotted a male leopard leisurely walking along the road. To my astonishment, there was a troop of baboons playing ahead. Despite the troop’s size, I doubted the leopard’s courage. Yet, he surprised me. Driven by curiosity, he stealthily vanished into the roadside grass.”
