Imagine arriving at your hotel after a tiring journey only to find that you can no longer stay there as the place is under renovation. And this is what actually happened to Amit Chansikar who later put up a tweet with a video of his frustrating situation.

Having pre-booked a hotel room in Bengaluru, the digital marketer only arrived to see a place that was anything but inviting with mess in every corner.
One can only imagine the situation of the already frustrated customer to then learn that the platform had even deducted the amount from his refund.
From this, it is only understandable when the man labels the whole situation as unfair and refers to it as cheating.
On a happy note, MakeMyTrip, the platform through which he had booked the Oyo hotel room, did come forward with an apology and a complete refund of the due amount.
Oyo too, came forward to apologize for the incidence and suggested that he can get in touch with them for the same.
While the tweets have gone viral by now, with internet users having viewed the place, the man too has done his part to share an update on the efforts made by both the booking platform and the hotel.
Meanwhile a lot of users have complained stating other similar experiences that they have seen today, which should serve as a wake up call for hotels and booking services who should be more prompt in delivering the right information to customers today.
