Anurag Dwary, an ‘X’ user, shared the video on his official social media account. He posted this statement: “A video from Narmadapuram has gone viral where a police constable is giving CPR to a snake that had fallen unconscious after being drenched in pesticide-laced toxic water.”
The constable has been identified as Atul Sharma. He is a self-taught snake rescuer who learned how to rescue them from the Discovery Channel.
Atul’s efforts are being recognized in the comments section. “OMG… Dwary sir…” Indian society’s compassion for even a snake. “Wonderful,” said an ‘X’ user. “My goodness,” wrote another. Such love and concern for nature and its inhabitants. May God bless him. Some may think it’s stupid, but they need to change their minds.”
